Mr. Clapsaddle has been in the Salem area since 1990, where fresh out of Oregon State University, he established roots in the Willamette Valley. An aspiring accounting student at OSU, he began his career while still in school at Boldt Carlisle & Smith CPA’s. While working there over the next 8 years, he developed an extensive background in income taxation, auditing, retirement plans and many other fields within accounting. In 1998, Jim expanded his accounting resume by entering into the corporate accounting sector taking various positions ranging from controller to CFO. Jim continued his public accounting practice to select clients through the years and in 2011, created JPCCPA, LLC.
Jim is truly an outside the box CPA. By gaining a thorough understanding of his clients, he is able to formulate plans and strategies that go well beyond the vanilla practices of others. When not crunching numbers, Jim enjoys Oregon State Beavers athletics as well and the fleeting years of his teen age son Tyler.
